The dream is like a flower that never withers

August 26, 2013 Hong Wang
                                         &nb…

(Magnolia covered in early spring snow in Beijing, March 2013)

When I heard this song from my university days again by accident, I couldn't hold back my tears.

Still remember the dreams we dreamt in our youth?

Blooming like flowers that never wither

Surviving with me the bluster of wind and rain

Through turns of life, seeing mulberry fields rising from deep sea

Those prices we paid for love

Those words we whispered from the depth of our hearts

Are not to fade until the end of day

Not to evaporate with a passion that's doomed to drift away
