Is there a better way to start the Year of Dragon than hiking on the Great Wall and watching the ancient stone structure extending like a dragon in China's northern mountains?
It was fine weather on the 3rd day of the Chinese New Year and we walked along the Great Wall from the Gubeikou to Jinshanling sections. It was a leisurely 3.5 hours walk but the view was breathtaking.
